Watch Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez in the Action Packed 'Getaway' Trailer

Getaway
(From Warner Bros.)The set-up for Getaway is exceedingly simple. Ethan Hawke is a former racecar driver. His wife is taken hostage. Hawke is forced, upon threat of her death, to steal stuff, including Selena Gomez's car, and (later) Selena Gomez. Cue chase scenes. Cue explosions. Cue power-sliding 180s that laugh in the face of physics. But it looks stylistically fun, and if Ethan Hawke's last movie, The Purge, proved anything, it's that Ethan Hawke can carry a straight-forward genre film to a big box office opening. Check out the trailer yourself, and if you're curious who that villain on the other end of the phone line is, that's Jon Voight doing his best Bane impression.

Avril Lavigne Makes Out With Winnie Cooper in Her New 'Rock N Roll' Video

(VEVO)It's highly unlikely that Avril Lavigne will ever be crowned rock 'n' roll's worthy savior, but that doesn't mean she can't play one in a truly awesome music video.

The Chris Marrs Piliero-directed video for Avril's new single "Rock N Roll" is over-the-top ridiculous from the start, with Lavigne cartoonishly announcing, "My new Sony phone is ringing!" That same tongue-in-cheek attitude blazes throughout the entire comic-inspired clip, which has her defeating an almighty bearshark in some dusty dystopia with the help of an alcoholic dog and a razor-edged guitar.

Oh, and she definitely kisses Winnie Cooper (aka Danica McKellar). That happens. Thankfully, the "look at me!" moment is tempered with cheesy voiceover. Also, Avril fights a lobster, throws a baby, and has an epic "November Rain" moment. It's truly something to behold.

Katy Perry Is Letting Her Fans Choose Her Next Single

(Getty Images)The upcoming 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are poised to be the most exciting music event of the year, featuring an opening performance by Lady Gaga, a rumored 'N Sync reunion, and a closing number by the current queen of the charts, Katy Perry.

According to new reports, Perry will perform her hit single "Roar" not at Barclays Center, where the awards are being held, but from a secret "iconic location" elsewhere in Brooklyn. But of course there's more: Perry, along with MTV and sponsor Pepsi, also is offering her fans the chance to pick her next single via social media.

Throughout the weekend, Perry fans who use the hashtag #Katynow will be able to unlock clues about her upcoming album, Prism. Fans can then use these clues to listen to snippets of two previously unreleased songs from the new album, "Dark Horse" and "Walking on Air," and vote for their favorite — using the hashtag above, of course. The winning song will be announced just before Perry's VMA performance, although it won't see its official release until September 17.

Real Talk: It's Time for Harry Styles to Change His Hairstyle

(Getty Images)Judging by the pictures, One Direction's Harry Styles was a total sweetheart at the world premiere of his group's new documentary film One Direction: This Is Us. The former X Factor competitor happily posed for pictures with fans outside London's Leicester Theater, where young girls have been waiting for hours upon hours to get a glimpse of their idols.

But there was something very off about the whole thing: His hair.

Harry's mop has been looking uncharacteristically odd for a couple of weeks now. At the Teen Choice Awards earlier this month, he seemed to have fashioned some of his longer locks into what could best be described as "faux-burns." It's a variation of the dreaded comb-over — a comb-forward:
